Terms and Conditions for Booking Courses, Experiences and Training Sessions

Acceptance of Regulations and Safety Measures By booking a course or training session with Deep Calm, you agree to comply with all the regulations and safety measures outlined below. Deep Calm reserves the right to deny participation in diving activities to anyone who has previously breached these regulations.

Training Costs and Equipment

  • The cost of training does not cover equipment rental, although equipment use is included in all courses.
  • A deposit amounting to 50% of the total fee is required to confirm your booking.

Payment Methods

  • We accept payment via credit and debit cards, and bank transfers. Please note that American Express cards are not accepted.

Booking and Cancellation

  • Bookings must be made at least one day in advance, no later than 5:00 PM on the day before the scheduled training.
  • All reservations are final; once a booking is made, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • If a session is canceled due to extraordinary circumstances such as bad weather or boat failure, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost to you.
  • You may cancel your booking via email or WhatsApp. If you cancel more than 30 days before the scheduled date, you are eligible for a refund of any deposits or prepayments. Cancellations made 30 days or fewer before the scheduled date are non-refundable.

Safety Measures

  • All divers must complete a registration form, including liability and medical statements, before diving.
  • Divers must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that could affect their safety during diving activities.
  • Diving insurance is provided for students enrolled in educational courses. Those participating in training sessions must have their own diving insurance.
  • Diving is permitted only when accompanied by a certified Deep Calm Freediver instructor.
  • Divers must inform the instructor of their dive plan prior to diving.
  • Diving is restricted to designated areas, specifically around a buoy or main line, which must remain attached to the surface line at all times.
  • Open line diving is prohibited unless specifically instructed by a Deep Calm freediving instructor.
  • Personal lanyards, compliant with international safety standards, are mandatory for all dives. Divers must not remove their lanyard during a dive unless it is necessary for safety.
  • Decompression stops are available at a maximum depth of 5 meters for scuba-certified divers, or at the surface for non-scuba certified divers, using the prescribed safety lanyard attached to the decompression line.

Responsibilities for Equipment and Liability

  • Participants are responsible for any damage to or loss of equipment due to negligence or non-compliance with instructed use.

Participation of Minors

  • Only children aged 10 years and older are eligible to participate in diving activities. All minors must have consent from a parent or guardian, and additional safety protocols may apply.

Instruction and Compliance

  • Participants are required to follow all instructions given by Deep Calm staff. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in termination of the diving session without a refund.

Personal Responsibility and Risk Acknowledgement

  • By agreeing to these terms, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with diving and confirm that they are participating at their own risk.

These revised terms and conditions aim to ensure clarity, safety, and legal protection for all participants and the organization. Compliance with these rules is mandatory for participation in our courses and training sessions.
