A weekend retreat bringing together yoga and freediving in a natural and immersive setting on the island of Kea. Stay in a traditional stone villa overlooking the sea and explore the connection between breath, movement, and the aquatic environment. Through yoga (asana, pranayama, meditation) and gentle freediving sessions, we approach both practices as complementary paths towards relaxation, awareness, and a calm mind.
Between structured sessions, there will be time to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of island life — moments for rest, beach time, and a short hike on Saturday evening leading to a more secluded spot. The retreat is open to all levels and focuses on experience rather than performance, offering a simple and grounded environment to reconnect with the body, the breath, and oneself.
Dates: June 27–28, 2026
Activities: Yoga, Freediving, Breathwork & Island Life
Location: Kea Island, Cyclades, Greece

Sataya Reef, located in the southern Red Sea, is known for its expansive lagoon and as a natural habitat for large pods of spinner dolphins, often encountered in calm, sheltered waters. This winter expedition is designed as a week of immersion in a remote and pristine marine environment, where time is shared between sailing, freediving, relaxation, and life on board.
We will explore the reef and its surroundings through gentle, respectful interactions with marine life, alongside daily practices including breathwork, light movement, and moments of rest. Life on board follows a simple rhythm, shaped by the conditions, the group, and the environment. Away from the noise and pace of everyday life, this journey offers space to reconnect with the sea, with others, and with oneself.
Dates: January 2027 (TBC)
Activities: Sailing, Freediving, Dolphin encounters, Breathwork & Movement
Location: Sataya Reef, Southern Red Sea

Explore our past events to get a clear idea of what to expect and how future experiences are shaped.
From week-long sailing expeditions to workshops, retreats, and shorter immersive gatherings, these moments have brought us together and contributed to what Deep Calm is today.
Across different formats - including freediving, breathwork, movement, and time outdoors - we work with small, carefully formed groups, with the intention of reconnecting with nature, others, and oneself.
The formats vary, but the approach remains consistent: a balance between structured practice and space to experience the environment, always at a steady and considered pace.
If these experiences resonate with you, you are welcome to join us.
Join us in a 3 days retreat on the island of Kea to practice Yoga and discover the positive effects of breath-hold diving. Set in a beautiful 19th century mansion surrounded by pistachio trees and a lush garden, minutes away from the sea, this retreat aims to acquaint the participants with the synergy of apnea and yoga. Embark on an inward journey of body reconnection that will awake your mammalian reflexes and will reveal the fantastic healing properties of underwater meditation.
